Since my last post some things have happened. I’d like to say they were all good, because I believe one of them wasn’t good at all, but I am trying to manage with it. Oh, and there’s still issues with my internet and my ISP can’t stress enough to finally contact the tech department and send over a tech guy to fix the issues.

I have certainly been silent for the couple months, and I am sorry. There are a couple reasons as of why, and I will talk about it of course. Things have turned for the better, but I have not reached everything I was bound to, but each on its own.

I am very late, but happy new year. And man, I wish it would have started much better than now. I thought I’d have everything under control, until I had to visit the doctor for stomach pain and was later admitted to the hospital, because my doctor was panicking and thinking it could be apendicitis. Turned out I was actually alright, nothing bad happened and it was all a waste of time.

As of late, I have been more or less been involved into being a Vtuber, aka a Virtual Youtuber. Although, since I mainly stream on Twitch, I could actually call it a VStreamer. Vtuber is like the mother term for everything, since it mainly gets used for the Virtual Content Creator overall. But how’s it about being a Vtuber, and why is it so fun to me rather than showing my real face?

We’re getting close to winter, and I sure can feel that already. Winter might not be my favorite season, but I prefer it over Summer, that’s for sure. And usually I prefer to spend these days with video games or watching anime and shows. And as of late I have been streaming a lot on twitch as well, even to the point I have debuted as a VTuber.

WARNING: This post will contain spoilers about Squid Game! If you haven’t watched the show in its entirety, it is NOT recommended to read this!!

Welcome to Finngewatching, a pun of my name (Finn) and “bingewatching”. Sounds kinda stupid, but I think I like it anyway. In Finngewatching, I will talk about and review shows I just recently have watched; could be anime, could be a drama (not mainly focused on korean dramas, by the way), or a movie. And since everybody seems to be hyped about this series, I thought I would add my two cents on it as well.

… I’ve just been busy. I was this close to a burnout in August, so I had to take a well-deserved break at the beginning of September, even for just three work days. It still made me feel better. Due to the fact I am coming to work with a bicycle every morning (and my body STILL isn’t grateful for this treatment) I get exhausted pretty easily, which results in me lurking most of the day.

It was about a year ago when the idea of an own, little TCG has struck me. And of course I was aware of all the time I had to invest in it. But I thought: I want to do it! TCGs are fun, and I enjoy them very much. My first idea was in fact a Magical Girl TCG. And guess what? It’s going to happen!

… but then i started playing Apex Legends and VALORANT and kinda got invested– especially on the latter. You might think whatever you want. You might say that the aforementioned games are for children because they’re free and therefore easily accessible for children, but so far I have seen nothing but mature people playing the game. Why mature? Because there’s no little kid screaming slurs into the microphone or act like a brat in party chat. It’s kind of nice.
